Zinedine Zidane CONFIRMED as Real Madrid boss following Santiago Solari sacking

Zinedine Zidane CONFIRMED as Real Madrid boss following Santiago Solari sacking
The Frenchman parted company with Real Madrid last May after guiding them to their third successive Champions League triumph.
Los Blancos have been a shambles since Zidane's departure, sacking his successor Julen Lopetegui four-and-a-months into his reign.
Former Real midfielder Santiago Solari succeeded Lopetegui on a temporary basis but has failed to turn things around.
Real president Florentino Perez has grown tired of the team's poor displays and shocking re-installed Zidane as the club's manager this afternoon.

Cristiano Ronaldo to return to Real Madrid? Zinedine Zidane makes transfer claim
The Frenchman returned to the Bernabeu earlier today as Santiago Solari's replacement, less than a year after quitting the club.
Zidane is expected to be handed a hefty summer transfer budget as Real look to put their miserable campaign behind them.
Ronaldo left for Juventus last summer in an £88m deal and there have been suggestions that he could be set for a sensational return.
But Zidane has refused to discuss transfers, insisting he is only focused on his side's remaining matches.
"That is not today's issue," he said when asked if Ronaldo could return.
"We have 11 games to play, then we will see for next years.
"We all know Cristiano, the history of this club, one of the best.
"But today is not for talking about these things."

Liverpool 4 Burnley 2: Firmino and Mane keep Reds hot on City's heels

Liverpool 4 Burnley 2: Firmino and Mane keep Reds hot on City's heels
Liverpool moved back to within a point of Premier League leaders Manchester City after battling past Burnley at Anfield.Liverpool fought back from a goal down to claim a 4-2 win over Burnley and move back to within a point of Premier League leaders Manchester City.
Pep Guardiola's side eased to a 3-1 victory over Watford on Saturday to turn up the heat on Liverpool, who had drawn four of their previous six league matches.
The pressure was increased when Ashley Westwood scored straight from a corner on Sunday, but Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane each netted twice to secure the comeback, despite a late Johann Gudmundsson goal amid difficult conditions on Merseyside.
Anfield was stunned after only six minutes when Westwood's corner from the left curled all the way into the net, although Alisson was furious it was allowed to stand after claiming he had been blocked by three Burnley players on the line.
Liverpool levelled within 13 minutes, though, Firmino tapping in after Tom Heaton made a mess of trying to block Mohamed Salah's low cross from the right.

Courtois denies Alba Carrillo relationship rumours
There is nothing romantic between Thibaut Courtois and Alba Carrilo, the Real Madrid goalkeeper has insisted.
The footballer and the model were seen together at a dinner, leading to rumours of a possible relationship, but Courtois has said that this is not the case.
"We're not a couple and we won't be one," he told Cotilleo.
"This is an overreaction.
"I've been with her twice, as I went to her house and she came to mine, before we went out one night for dinner.
"That was when the photos were taken, but there was nothing more.
"Having seen what's happened, I don't think you'll see us together again."

Gareth Bale could join one of three English clubs, believes Jermaine Jenas (Image: Getty)
That is according to BBC Sport pundit Jermaine Jenas.
Bale has grown unhappy in Madrid this season as the club have felt the effects of losing figureheads Cristiano Ronaldo and Zinedine Zidane.
Real Madrid have nothing to play for after their embarrassing 4-1 home loss to Ajax in midweek which dumped them out of the Champions League.
Having been knocked out of the Copa del Rey by Barcelona and trailing their bitter rivals by 12 points in La Liga, the wheels have come off of the reigning European champions, who are expected to sack coach Santiago Solari soon.
Bale has been cast as one of the villains by the Bernabeu faithful, and was booed off the pitch in last week’s El Clasico loss.
