Bayern Munich put 70 million euro price tag on Barcelona target Thiago
Barcelona have made Thiago Alcantara their main target for the midfield following Antoine Griezmann's decision to turn them down and remain at Atletico Madrid.
The Catalan side have made contact with Bayern Munich and been told that the player who came through the youth ranks at Barcelona would cost 70 million euros.

While expensive it is in line with the market with Atletico bringing in Lemar for 75 million euros, and it will be down to Barcelona whether they are ready to pay the fee. Eric Abidal starts on Sunday in his new role of technical secretary and this will be one of the first decisions that he will have to make.
Thiago is rated by the Barcelona squad and having started off at the club it would not be difficult for him to adapt. At the same time, Bayern's interest in Digne means that he could be brought into the deal.
The Spanish international is happy to return to Barcelona but it will not be his decision as he has a contract with Bayern until 2021.
