Rotherham secure comeback win over Solihull Moors to reach FA Cup third round

Rotherham secure comeback win over Solihull Moors to reach FA Cup third round
Rotherham produced a stunning second-half comeback as they recovered from a three-goal deficit to avoid a huge FA Cup shock and down Solihull Moors 4-3.
Solihull made an electric start and were rewarded in the sixth minute when Jamey Osborne punished lacklustre defending from Rotherham to drive the ball into the top corner from 18 yards.
It was double delight for Solihull just two minutes later as a looped cross fell behind a stagnant Rotherham defence and Alex Gudger timed his run perfectly to strike a volley home.
The Millers were struggling to combat Solihull’s aerial prowess and a clinical counter-attack in the 62nd minute looked to have sealed the game for the Moors as James Ball scored.

Kane brace caps comeback as Mourinho’s Tottenham reach knockout stage
Tottenham booked their place in the Champions League knockout stage for a third successive year with a brilliant 4-2 comeback win against Olympiacos in Jose Mourinho’s first home game in charge.
It had looked like the Greek side were about to ruin Mourinho’s big night as they capitalised on a truly woeful opening 30 minutes by Spurs to lead 2-0 after 20 minutes thanks to goals from Youssef El Arabi and Ruben Semedo.
Dele Alli’s reply just before the break proved pivotal as it gave Mourinho’s men a base to produce a fine second-half blitz, with Harry Kane grabbing a brace and Serge Aurier capping a fine performance with the goal of the night.

Chelsea star Willian 'offered to Real Madrid but Zidane turns down transfer' as winger runs down contract
CHELSEA star Willian has been offered to Real Madrid on a free transfer next summer, it has been claimed.
The 31-year-old is in the final year of his current deal at Stamford Bridge and becomes a free agent in July - with Barcelona said to be interested.
But reports have emerged in Spain to suggest someone in the player's camp is hawking him round clubs to see if there would be an interest in signing him.
Website Defensa Central has claimed one such call was made to Real Madrid to enquire if they were open to the Brazilian moving there on a free transfer.
But they report that the proposal was rejected by Zinedine Zidane because the player does not fit into his plans for the future.

Leganes 1-2 Barcelona: Vidal salvages late victory for LaLiga leaders

Substitute Arturo Vidal rescued Barcelona with a scrappy late goal as the leaders of LaLiga recovered from an early setback to win 2-1 at bottom side Leganes on Saturday.

Barca boss Ernesto Valverde fielded an attacking line-up that included Lionel Messi, Antoine Griezmann, Luis Suarez and Ousmane Dembele in a 4-2-3-1 formation, but it did not look like paying off for large parts.

Leganes have won just once all season but the underdogs took the lead through Youssef En-Nesyri's sublime early strike, before the champions hit back in the second half.

Jose Mourinho has told Dele Alli he is the poor relation of the Tottenham team at the moment in a bid to spark him back into the form he showed two years ago.
In a remarkable exchange on his first full day at the club, Mourinho called the England international aside to find out why he has been unable to live up to the promise he showed when he first arrived at the club.
Arturo Vidal snatches Barcelona victory at Leganes
A scrappy late strike from Arturo Vidal saw Barcelona come from behind to record a 2-1 LaLiga victory over bottom-of-the-table Leganes.
Youssef En-Nesyri gave the hosts an early lead with a superb effort as Barcelona struggled to create anything of any note.
But they improved after the break and second-half efforts from Luis Suarez and Vidal secured victory and moved them three points clear at the top, although Real Madrid will have the opportunity to move level when they play Real Sociedad later on Saturday.

Lampard: Mourinho not right to say I turned my back on Chelsea to join Man City

Lampard: Mourinho not right to say I turned my back on Chelsea to join Man City
Frank Lampard says Jose Mourinho was wrong to say that his Chelsea legacy was tarnished by joining Manchester City in 2014, but he holds no grudge with his former boss.
Mourinho stole the headlines this week when he took over Tottenham - the fiercest rivals of Chelsea, where he goes down as the club's most successful manager.
While with the Stamford Bridge side, the Portuguese claimed he would never join Tottenham, comments that have resurfaced this week following his decision to do just that. And Mourinho's history has come under further scrutiny after he suggested that Lampard's Chelsea "love stories" were over when he netted against the club while playing with City five years ago.
Although he believes Mourinho was in the wrong to make such a statement, Lampard holds no animosity towards the ex-Real Madrid and Manchester United manager.

Goals from Son Heung-min, Lucas Moura and Harry Kane saw Tottenham win 3-2 at West Ham in Jose Mourinho's debut game at the helm.

Mourinho left Christian Eriksen on the bench as a first-half goal and assist from Son Heung-min helped end a run of 12 away Premier League games without a victory for Spurs, despite a late home fightback.
The South Korea star opened the scoring in the 36th minute and then set up Lucas Moura to get Mourinho's men up and running, Harry Kane adding to the scoreline as Spurs climbed to sixth in the table.
Michail Antonio and Angelo Ogbonna netted late consolations but West Ham continue to struggle after a bright start to the season. Manuel Pellegrini's side have now lost six of their past seven Premier League games.

The only problem was, they tagged in Ainsley Maitland-Niles rather
 the £72million Ivorian.
Pepe spotted the error and commented: "It's me" with a laughing emoji and one with a hand covering a face.
Arsenal quickly deleted the image, although not before it circulated on social media.
Pepe is expected to play some part against Southampton on Saturday despite arriving back late from international duty.
The winger, who has struggled in his first three months in English football, only got back on Thursday and missed training that day.

Fulham and Kamara have put last season’s controversy in past – Parker

Fulham and Kamara have put last season’s controversy in past – Parker
Scott Parker insisted both Fulham and Aboubakar Kamara have put last season’s controversy behind them after the striker scored twice to sink QPR 2-1.
Kamara’s Craven Cottage career looked over in January after a series of bust-ups, one of which saw him arrested, banned from the club and then sent on loan to Turkish side Malatyaspor.
Yet Cottagers boss Parker has reintegrated Kamara into the squad and, with 12-goal top-scorer Aleksandar Mitrovic suspended, turned to the Frenchman to lead the line against Rangers.
Parker was rewarded with a goal in each half as Fulham came from behind to beat their west London rivals and climb up to fourth in the Sky Bet Championship table.

Reason Why Thailand is Buying Russian Helicopters

Beginning in 2011, the Kingdom of Thailand began replacing aging US helicopters not with newer US-built models, but with Russian and Italian systems instead.
This includes Russian Mi-17 medium twin-turbine transport helicopters and several AgustaWestland AW149's and AW139's (for transporting VIPs).
